Transliteration

prātiveśmakaputrī tvaṃ mayānīyātra poṣitā | bhāryārthaṃ suciraṃ kālaṃ tatkāryaṃ sādhaya priye

Translation

‘ನೀನು ಪಕ್ಕದ ಮನೆಯ ಮಗಳು; ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನಾನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಕರೆತಂದು ಪೋಷಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಬಹುಕಾಲದಿಂದ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾಗಲೆಂದು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ—ಈಗ, ಪ್ರಿಯೆ, ಆ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸು.’
