अतस्ताभ्यः फलं ग्राह्यं न स्याद्दोषेक्षणः सुधीः । इति श्रुत्वा तमानर्च मेधातिथिरुदारधीः
atastābhyaḥ phalaṃ grāhyaṃ na syāddoṣekṣaṇaḥ sudhīḥ | iti śrutvā tamānarca medhātithirudāradhīḥ
ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರಿಂದ ಫಲವನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಬೇಕು, ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯು ದೋಷವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವವನಾಗಬಾರದು. ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಉದಾರ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನ ಮೇಧಾತಿಥಿಯು ಅವನನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸಿದನು.
