स्तंभतीर्थमिति ख्यातं स्तम्भो गर्वः कृतो यतः । स्तंभस्य हि फलं सद्यो ब्रह्मापि प्राप किं परः
staṃbhatīrthamiti khyātaṃ stambho garvaḥ kṛto yataḥ | staṃbhasya hi phalaṃ sadyo brahmāpi prāpa kiṃ paraḥ
ಇದು ‘ಸ್ತಂಭತೀರ್ಥ’ವೆಂದು ಖ್ಯಾತಿಯಾಗುವುದು; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಗರ್ವವನ್ನು ‘ಸ್ತಂಭ’ವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು. ದರ್ಪದ ಫಲ ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ—ಬ್ರಹ್ಮನಿಗೂ ಬಂದಿತೆಂದರೆ, ಇತರರ ಮಾತೇನು.
