इत्येष लक्षणोद्देशः पापिनां परिकीर्तितः । चित्रगुप्तोऽपि मुह्येत सकलस्यानुवर्णने
ityeṣa lakṣaṇoddeśaḥ pāpināṃ parikīrtitaḥ | citragupto'pi muhyeta sakalasyānuvarṇane
ಇಂತೆ ಪಾಪಿಗಳ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳ ಸಂಕ್ಷಿಪ್ತ ಸೂಚನೆ ಹೇಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಅವೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ವರ್ಣಿಸಲು ಚಿತ್ರಗುಪ್ತನೂ ಸಹ ಗೊಂದಲಗೊಳ್ಳುವನು.
