तस्यां दत्तं हुतं चेष्टं सर्वमेवाक्षयं मतम् । सर्वदारिद्र्यशमनं भास्करप्रीतये मतम्

Transliteration

tasyāṃ dattaṃ hutaṃ ceṣṭaṃ sarvamevākṣayaṃ matam | sarvadāridryaśamanaṃ bhāskaraprītaye matam

Translation

ಆ ತಿಥಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀಡುವ ದಾನ, ಹೋಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವ ಆहुತಿ, ಅಥವಾ ಮಾಡುವ ಧರ್ಮಕರ್ಮ—ಇವೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಫಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಕ್ಷಯವೆಂದು ಗಣಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಭಾಸ್ಕರನ ಪ್ರೀತಿಗಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದುದು ಸರ್ವ ದಾರಿದ್ರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಶಮನಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲಾಗಿದೆ.
