भवन्त्येतानि सर्वाणि लुब्धानामकृतात्मनाम् । सुमहां त्यपि सास्त्राणि धारयंति बहुश्रुताः
Transliteration
bhavantyetāni sarvāṇi lubdhānāmakṛtātmanām | sumahāṃ tyapi sāstrāṇi dhārayaṃti bahuśrutāḥ
Translation
ಲೋಭಿಗಳಾದ, ಆತ್ಮಸಂಯಮವಿಲ್ಲದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೋಷಗಳು ಹುಟ್ಟುತ್ತವೆ. ಬಹುಶ್ರುತರೂ ಮಹಾ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಧಾರಿಸುವವರೂ ಸಹ ಇವುಗಳಲ್ಲೇ ಬೀಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
