शुशोच हा कष्टमिति पापोहमिति चासकृत् । तत्तस्य चांतरं दृष्ट्वाऽहृष्यत्यव्रतश्चिरात्

ಅವನು ಮರುಮರು ಅಳಲಾಡಿದನು—“ಹಾ, ಎಂಥ ದುಃಖ! ನಾನು ಪಾಪಿ!” ಅವನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಆ ಬಿರುಕು ಕಂಡು, ಬಹುಕಾಲದಿಂದ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಅವ್ರತನು ಹರ್ಷಿಸಿದನು।
