। नारद उवाच । तथा बहूदकस्थाने कथामाकर्णयाद्भुताम् । यस्माद्बहूदकं कामरूपे यदस्ति च

ನಾರದರು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ‘ಬಹೂದಕ’ ಎಂಬ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಅದ್ಭುತ ಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳು; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಕಾಮರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ‘ಬಹೂದಕ’ ಎಂಬ ತೀರ್ಥವಿದೆ।
