ईर्ष्यया सुमहद्दुःखं मोहाद्रक्तस्य जायते । मत्तस्य कुपितस्यैव रागो दोषाय केवलम्
īrṣyayā sumahadduḥkhaṃ mohādraktasya jāyate | mattasya kupitasyaiva rāgo doṣāya kevalam
ಮೋಹದಿಂದ ರಂಜಿತ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನವನಿಗೆ ಈರ್ಷೆಯಿಂದ ಅತಿಮಹಾದುಃಖ ಉಂಟಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಮತ್ತನಾಗಿಯೂ ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡವನಿಗೂ ರಾಗವು ಕೇವಲ ದೋಷವಾಗಿಯೇ ಪರಿಣಮಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
