Transliteration

maccittā sā sadā mātarmama sarvārthasādhanī | ghrāṇaṃ jihvā ca cakṣuśca tvakca śrotraṃ ca paṃcamam

Translation

ಹೇ ಮಾತಃ, ಅವಳು ಸದಾ ನನ್ನಲ್ಲೇ ಚಿತ್ತವನ್ನು ನೆಟ್ಟು ನನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲ ಉದ್ದೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾಧಿಸುತ್ತಾಳೆ. (ಆದರೂ) ಘ್ರಾಣ, ಜಿಹ್ವೆ, ಚಕ್ಷು, ತ್ವಕ್ ಮತ್ತು ಐದನೆಯ ಶ್ರೋತ್ರ—ಇವೇ ಇಂದ್ರಿಯಕರಣಗಳು ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತವೆ.
