प्रत्यग्निं प्रति सूर्यं च प्रति गां व्रतिनं प्रति । प्रति सोमोदकं सन्ध्यां प्रज्ञा नश्यति मेहतः
pratyagniṃ prati sūryaṃ ca prati gāṃ vratinaṃ prati | prati somodakaṃ sandhyāṃ prajñā naśyati mehataḥ
ಪವಿತ್ರ ಅಗ್ನಿ, ಸೂರ್ಯ, ಗೋವು, ವ್ರತಧಾರಿ, ಸೋಮೋದಕ ಅಥವಾ ಸಂಧ್ಯಾವಂದನೆ ಕಡೆ ಮುಖಮಾಡಿ ಮೂತ್ರವಿಸರ್ಜನೆ ಮಾಡಿದವನ ವಿವೇಕ-ಪ್ರಜ್ಞೆ ನಾಶವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲಾಗಿದೆ।
