यच्चाक्रुश्य ददात्यंग दत्त्वा वाक्रोशति द्विजम् । पैशाचं तद्वृथा दानंदाननाशास्त्रयस्त्वमी
yaccākruśya dadātyaṃga dattvā vākrośati dvijam | paiśācaṃ tadvṛthā dānaṃdānanāśāstrayastvamī
ಪ್ರಿಯನೇ, ನಿಂದಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಕೊಡುವ ದಾನ, ಅಥವಾ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ನಂತರ ದ್ವಿಜ (ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣ)ನನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸುವುದು—ಅದು ‘ಪೈಶಾಚ’ ದಾನ; ಅದು ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಇವೇ ದಾನನಾಶದ ಮೂರು ವಿಧಗಳು.
