Lomaharṣaṇa (Sūta) to the sages (deduced)
Scene: A wise devotee stands between Śiva and Viṣṇu, offering flowers and lamp in balanced devotion; a faint vision of hells recedes behind, replaced by serene light of Śruti (Vedic fire/chant).
Liberation is supported by śāstra/śruti-aligned devotion, honoring both Hari (Viṣṇu) and Hara (Śiva) without sectarian denial.
No particular site is named; the verse gives a universal prescription for worship in accordance with Śruti.
Worship (arcana/pūjā) of both Hari and Hara, explicitly to be done following the Śruti-mārga (Vedic injunctions).
