श्रीभगवानुवाच । नैतत्तवोचितं स्कंद रुद्रभक्तो यथा श्रृणु । द्वे तनू गिरिजाभर्तुर्वेदज्ञा मुनयो विदुः
śrībhagavānuvāca | naitattavocitaṃ skaṃda rudrabhakto yathā śrṛṇu | dve tanū girijābharturvedajñā munayo viduḥ
ಶ್ರೀಭಗವಾನ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಹೇ ಸ್ಕಂದ, ಇದು ನಿನಗೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯವಲ್ಲ. ‘ರುದ್ರಭಕ್ತ’ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಗಿರುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಕೇಳು. ವೇದಜ್ಞ ಮುನಿಗಳು ಗಿರಿಜಾಭರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಎರಡು ರೂಪಗಳಿವೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
