निवृत्तश्च क्षणाद्भूयः किं वक्ष्यति हरस्त्विति । ततो विमृश्य बहुधा किंचिद्भीताननो यता
nivṛttaśca kṣaṇādbhūyaḥ kiṃ vakṣyati harastviti | tato vimṛśya bahudhā kiṃcidbhītānano yatā
ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲೇ ನಗು ನಿಂತಿತು; ಮತ್ತೆ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ‘ಹರನು ಏನು ಹೇಳುವನು?’ ಎಂದು ಚಿಂತಿಸಿದರು. ನಂತರ ಬಹು ವಿಧವಾಗಿ ಯೋಚಿಸಿ, ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಭೀತಮುಖನಾಗಿ (ಒಬ್ಬನು) ಹತ್ತಿರ ಹೋದನು.
