देव्युवाच । मनसस्त्वं प्रभुः शंभो दत्तं तच्च मया तव । वपुषः पितरावीशौ तौ सम्मानयितुमर्हसि
devyuvāca | manasastvaṃ prabhuḥ śaṃbho dattaṃ tacca mayā tava | vapuṣaḥ pitarāvīśau tau sammānayitumarhasi
ದೇವಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಹೇ ಶಂಭೋ, ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನ ಪ್ರಭು ನೀನೇ; ಆ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಆದರೆ ದೇಹದ ಪೋಷಕರು ಆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಪೂಜ್ಯರು; ಅವರನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸುವುದು ನಿನಗೆ ಯುಕ್ತ।
