स तानचिंत्य दैत्येंद्रो देवबाणक्षतान्हृदि । बाणैर्व्योम दिशः पृथ्वीं पूरयामास दानवः
sa tānaciṃtya daityeṃdro devabāṇakṣatānhṛdi | bāṇairvyoma diśaḥ pṛthvīṃ pūrayāmāsa dānavaḥ
ಆದರೆ ಆ ದೈತ್ಯೇಂದ್ರನು ಅಚಿಂತ್ಯನಾಗಿ ನಿಂತನು; ದೇವರ ಬಾಣಗಳಿಂದ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರೂ, ತನ್ನ ಬಾಣವರ್ಷದಿಂದ ಆಕಾಶ, ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
