अनर्हते यद्ददाति न ददाति तथार्हते । अर्हानर्हपरिज्ञानाद्दानधर्मो हि दुष्करः

Transliteration

anarhate yaddadāti na dadāti tathārhate | arhānarhaparijñānāddānadharmo hi duṣkaraḥ

Translation

ಯಾವಾಗ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಅನರ್ಹನಿಗೆ ದಾನ ನೀಡಿ ಅರ್ಹನಿಗೆ ನೀಡದೆ ಬಿಡುತ್ತಾನೋ, ಆಗ ಅರ್ಹ-ಅನರ್ಹ ವಿವೇಕ ದುಷ್ಕರವಾದುದರಿಂದ ದಾನಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸುವುದು ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಕಷ್ಟವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ।
