ರಾಕ್ಷಸೇಂದ್ರನ ಆಘಾತದಿಂದ ದೈತ್ಯೇಂದ್ರನು ಭೂಕಂಪದಿಂದ ನಡುಗಿದ ಪರ್ವತದಂತೆ ಕದಲಿದನು. ಕ್ಷಣಮಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಸಿರನ್ನು ಸಮಾಳಿಸಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ದುರ್ಜಯನೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದನು.
