na dadāsyuttaraṃ viddhi mṛtāmeva prajāpate | ityuktaḥ sa tadovāca tāṃ patnīmatiduḥkhitām
“ನಾನು ಉತ್ತರ ನೀಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಓ ಪ್ರಜಾಪತೇ, ಅವಳು ಮೃತಪ್ರಾಯಳೇ” ಎಂದು. ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಅವನು ಆಗ ಅತಿದುಃಖಿತ ಪತ್ನಿಯನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತಾಡಿದನು.
