savyahaste tṛṇaughaṃ ca cchāyārthe viprasattamam | dakṣiṇe cākṣamālāṃ ca bibhrataṃ maitramārgagam

ಆ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣನು ನೆರಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಎಡಗೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೃಣಗುಚ್ಛವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು, ಬಲಗೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಕ್ಷಮಾಲೆಯನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿ, ಮೈತ್ರಿಯ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು।
