Transliteration

durgo nāma gaṇādhyakṣaḥ sarvadurgatināśanaḥ | kṣetrasya dakṣiṇe bhāge pūjanīyaḥ prayatnataḥ

Translation

‘ದುರ್ಗ’ ಎಂಬ ಗಣಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷನಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಅವನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದುರ್ಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವವನು. ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಪೂಜಿಸಬೇಕು.
