Skanda
Listener: Agastya (Maitrāvaruṇa/Kumbhayoni)
Scene: Skanda, radiant and youthful, seated in a forest-āśrama setting, addressing Agastya with a gesture of instruction; a subtle aura suggests impending revelation, with palm-leaf manuscripts symbolizing Vyāsa’s utterance.
Sacred history is transmitted through guru-to-sage dialogue; the Purāṇa frames future events as dharmic instruction.
Kāśī remains the setting-context of the Kāśīkhaṇḍa, though this verse mainly introduces a future narrative.
None; it is a narrative transition introducing Vyāsa and forthcoming actions.
