उवाच च प्रसन्नोस्मि महाक्रोधन तापस । वरयस्व वरः कस्ते मया देयो विशंकितः
uvāca ca prasannosmi mahākrodhana tāpasa | varayasva varaḥ kaste mayā deyo viśaṃkitaḥ
ದೇವನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— “ಹೇ ಮಹಾಕ್ರೋಧಿ ತಪಸ್ವೀ, ನಾನು ಪ್ರಸನ್ನನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ವರವನ್ನು ಬೇಡು—ನಿನಗೆ ಯಾವ ವರ ಕೊಡಲಿ? ಸಂಶಯಿಸಬೇಡ।”
