स्नात्वा भागीरथी तीर्थे कृत्वा श्राद्धं विधानवित् । दत्त्वा दानं च पात्रेभ्यो न भूयो गर्भभाग्भवेत्
snātvā bhāgīrathī tīrthe kṛtvā śrāddhaṃ vidhānavit | dattvā dānaṃ ca pātrebhyo na bhūyo garbhabhāgbhavet
ಭಾಗೀರಥೀ ತೀರ್ಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನಾನಮಾಡಿ, ವಿಧಿಜ್ಞನಾಗಿ ಶ್ರಾದ್ಧವನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿ, ಯೋಗ್ಯ ಪಾತ್ರರಿಗೆ ದಾನ ನೀಡಿದವನು—ಮತ್ತೆ ಗರ್ಭಜನ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ಪಾತ್ರನಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
