स वशिष्ठो महाप्राज्ञो दृढ पाशुपतव्रतः । देवि मे प्रार्थयामास हिमशैलादिह स्थितिम्
sa vaśiṣṭho mahāprājño dṛḍha pāśupatavrataḥ | devi me prārthayāmāsa himaśailādiha sthitim
ಆ ಮಹಾಪ್ರಾಜ್ಞ ವಶಿಷ್ಠನು, ಪಾಶುಪತ ವ್ರತದಲ್ಲಿ ದೃಢನಿಷ್ಠನಾಗಿ, ಹೇ ದೇವಿ! ಹಿಮಶೈಲದಿಂದ ಬಂದು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ನನಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದನು।
