स्थाल्यैतया महाभागे यावंतोऽन्नार्थिनो जनाः । तावंतस्तृप्तिमाप्स्यंति यावच्च त्वं न भोक्ष्यसे
sthālyaitayā mahābhāge yāvaṃto'nnārthino janāḥ | tāvaṃtastṛptimāpsyaṃti yāvacca tvaṃ na bhokṣyase
‘ಓ ಮಹಾಭಾಗ್ಯವತೀ! ಈ ಸ್ಥಾಲಿಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಎಷ್ಟು ಅನ್ನಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಬಂದರೂ, ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಜನರು ತೃಪ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ—ನೀನು ಸ್ವತಃ ಭೋಜನ ಮಾಡದವರೆಗೆ.’
