स्कंद उवाच । पाद्मेकल्पे पुरावृत्ते मनोः स्वायंभुवेंतरे । अनावृष्टिरभूद्विप्र सर्वभूतप्रकंपिनी
skaṃda uvāca | pādmekalpe purāvṛtte manoḥ svāyaṃbhuveṃtare | anāvṛṣṭirabhūdvipra sarvabhūtaprakaṃpinī
ಸ್ಕಂದನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಓ ವಿಪ್ರ, ಪುರಾತನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಪದ್ಮಕಲ್ಪದಲ್ಲಿ, ಸ್ವಾಯಂಭುವ ಮನ್ವಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ, ಸರ್ವಭೂತಗಳನ್ನು ನಡುಗಿಸುವ ಅನಾವೃಷ್ಟಿ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು।
