कृशः प्रलंबः स्फुटितो रूक्षो दौर्भाग्यसूचकः । श्यावः स्थूलोऽधरोष्ठः स्याद्वैधव्य कलहप्रदः
kṛśaḥ pralaṃbaḥ sphuṭito rūkṣo daurbhāgyasūcakaḥ | śyāvaḥ sthūlo'dharoṣṭhaḥ syādvaidhavya kalahapradaḥ
ಅಧರೋಷ್ಠವು ಕೃಶ, ಅತಿಯಾಗಿ ಉದ್ದ, ಬಿರುಕು ಬಿಟ್ಟ ಹಾಗೂ ರುಕ್ಷವಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದು ದೌರ್ಭಾಗ್ಯದ ಸೂಚಕವೆಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಶ್ಯಾಮವರ್ಣದ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಥೂಲವಾದ ಅಧರೋಷ್ಠವು ವೈಧವ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ಕಲಹವನ್ನೂ ತರುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲಾಗಿದೆ।
