अग्न्याधेयं पाकयज्ञानग्निष्टोमादिकान्मखान् । यः करोति वृतो यस्य स तस्यर्त्त्विगिहोच्यते

Transliteration

agnyādheyaṃ pākayajñānagniṣṭomādikānmakhān | yaḥ karoti vṛto yasya sa tasyarttvigihocyate

Translation

ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದವನು ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನಿಗಾಗಿ ಅಗ್ನ್ಯಾಧೇಯ, ಪಾಕಯಜ್ಞಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಅಗ್ನಿಷ್ಟೋಮಾದಿ ಮಖಗಳನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದರೆ, ಅವನು ಆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯ ‘ಋತ್ವಿಕ್’ (ಯಾಜಕ) ಎಂದು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
