मातृमातृष्वसृस्वसृपितृस्वसृपुरःसराः । प्रथमं भिक्षणीयाः स्युरेतायाचन नो वदेत्

Transliteration

mātṛmātṛṣvasṛsvasṛpitṛsvasṛpuraḥsarāḥ | prathamaṃ bhikṣaṇīyāḥ syuretāyācana no vadet

Translation

ಭಿಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಮೊದಲು ತಾಯಿ, ತಾಯಿಯ ಸಹೋದರಿ (ಮಾತೃಸ್ವಸಾ), ಸಹೋದರಿ, ತಂದೆಯ ಸಹೋದರಿ (ಪಿತೃಸ್ವಸಾ) ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತಿರುವ ಇತರ ಹಿರಿಯ/ರಕ್ಷಕ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ಬಳಿ ಬೇಡಬೇಕು। ಅವರ ಬಳಿ ಭಿಕ್ಷಾಯಾಚನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ‘ಇಲ್ಲ’ ಎಂದು ತಿರಸ್ಕಾರ ಮಾತು ಹೇಳಬಾರದು।
