अथनेत्थं कथमियमकांडात्पर्यमूमुहत् । प्रेक्षमाणा रहश्चित्रपटीमति पटीयसीम्
athanetthaṃ kathamiyamakāṃḍātparyamūmuhat | prekṣamāṇā rahaścitrapaṭīmati paṭīyasīm
ಅವರು ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯದಿಂದ—“ಇವಳು ಏಕೆ ಸಹಸಾ ಈ ಮೋಹಜನಿತ ಮೂರ್ಚ್ಛೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದಳು?” ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡರು. ಬಳಿಕ ಏಕಾಂತದಲ್ಲಿ, ಚಿತ್ರಪಟದಂತೆ ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮಬುದ್ಧಿಯುಳ್ಳ ಆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ವಿವೇಕವತಿಯನ್ನು ನಿಶಿತವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿದರು.
