कनककुंडलोवाच । किमर्थं खिद्यसे कांत ज्ञानवानसि यद्भवान् । अत्रोपायोऽस्त्यपत्याप्त्यै विस्रब्धमवधारय
kanakakuṃḍalovāca | kimarthaṃ khidyase kāṃta jñānavānasi yadbhavān | atropāyo'styapatyāptyai visrabdhamavadhāraya
ಕನಕಕುಂಡಲೆ ಹೇಳಿದಳು: 'ಓ ಕಾಂತ! ನೀನು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಏಕೆ ದುಃಖಿಸುತ್ತೀಯೆ? ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತಾನ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ತಿಗೆ ಉಪಾಯವಿದೆ, ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಕೇಳು.
