Agastya
Listener: Skanda
Scene: Sage Agastya, seated with matted locks and waterpot, addresses six-faced Skanda with folded hands; the setting suggests an āśrama near sacred Kāśī, with attentive sages around, signaling the start of a new teaching cycle.
It models the Purāṇic method of transmission: sincere inquiry by a sage and compassionate instruction by the divine teacher.
Not directly in this verse; it serves as a transition into further Kāśī/Avimukta-related teaching.
None; it is a dialogic invocation requesting exposition.
