itthaṃ pariṣṭutya sa kārtikeyaṃ namo namastvityabhibhāṣamāṇaḥ | dvistriḥparikramya puro viveśa sthito munīśopaviśeti coktaḥ
ಈ ರೀತಿ ಕಾರ್ತಿಕೇಯನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿ, “ನಮೋ ನಮಸ್ತೇ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತ, ಅವನು ಎರಡು-ಮೂರು ಬಾರಿ ಪ್ರದಕ್ಷಿಣೆ ಮಾಡಿ ನಂತರ ಅವರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದನು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದವನಿಗೆ—“ಹೇ ಮುನೀಶ್ವರ, ಉಪವೇಶಿಸು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲಾಯಿತು।
