Skanda
Tirtha: Prayāga (Tīrtharāja)
Type: sangam
Listener: null
Scene: A road scene at the halfway mark: the pilgrim strides forward with steady gaze; a dark, smoky figure symbolizing sin slips away from his body, hovering behind, as if waiting for the next step to vanish.
Resolute pilgrimage itself becomes purificatory; the journey toward a great tīrtha is spiritually efficacious.
Prayāga, addressed directly as the sacred destination.
No formal rite; it emphasizes firm resolve and the sanctifying act of traveling to the tīrtha.
