कार्तिकस्य चतुर्दश्यां विश्वेशं यो विलोकयेत् । स्नात्वा चोत्तरवाहिन्यां न तस्य पुनरागतिः

Transliteration

kārtikasya caturdaśyāṃ viśveśaṃ yo vilokayet | snātvā cottaravāhinyāṃ na tasya punarāgatiḥ

Translation

ಕಾರ್ತಿಕ ಚತುರ್ದಶಿಯಂದು ಯಾರು ವಿಶ್ವೇಶ್ವರನ ದರ್ಶನ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೋ, ಉತ್ತರवाहಿನೀ ಗಂಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೋ, ಅವನಿಗೆ ಪುನರಾಗಮನ (ಪುನರ್ಜನ್ಮ) ಇಲ್ಲ.
