“ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಭಾರ್ಗವನು ಹರಣವಾದ ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲೇ ನಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಕಳೆದುಹೋಯಿತು. ಧಿಕ್ಕಾರ ನಮಗೆ—ಕೂಲಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ, ಕೂಲಪೂಜ್ಯ ಗುರು, ಸರ್ವಸಮರ್ಥ ರಕ್ಷಕನು ಆಪತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲ್ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲ।”
