dānave'dhiṣṭhite yuddhe śaraiścicheda sāyakān | śarāsaneṇa tatraiva andhakaśchāditastadā
ದಾನವನು ಯುದ್ಧವನ್ನು ಬಲವಾಗಿ ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಿದಾಗ, ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಬಾಣಗಳಿಂದ ಅವನ ಕ್ಷಿಪಣಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿದನು. ಆಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಅಂಧಕನು ಧನುಸ್ಸು-ಬಾಣಗಳ ಮಳೆಯಿಂದ ಮುಚ್ಚಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಅಡಗಿಹೋದನು।
