मोक्षार्थं मानवेन्द्राणां निर्मितं नृपसत्तम युधिष्ठिर उवाच । श्रुता मे विविधा धर्मास्तीर्थानि विविधानि च । दानधर्माः समस्ताश्च त्वत्प्रसादाद्द्विजोत्तम
mokṣārthaṃ mānavendrāṇāṃ nirmitaṃ nṛpasattama yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | śrutā me vividhā dharmāstīrthāni vividhāni ca | dānadharmāḥ samastāśca tvatprasādāddvijottama
ಹೇ ನೃಪಸತ್ತಮ! ಇದು ಮಾನವೇಂದ್ರರ ಮೋಕ್ಷಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿತವಾಗಿದೆ. ಯುಧಿಷ್ಠಿರನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಹೇ ದ್ವಿಜೋತ್ತಮ! ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಸಾದದಿಂದ ನಾನು ವಿವಿಧ ಧರ್ಮಗಳು, ವಿವಿಧ ತೀರ್ಥಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ದಾನದರ್ಮಗಳೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ।
