ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಮುನಿಯು ತನ್ನ ವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿತ್ತಿಂದ ಅಲ್ಲಿತ್ತಿಂದ ಹುಡುಕಿದನು. ಆಗ ಆ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣಿ ಹೇಳಿದಳು— “ಪ್ರಭೋ, ನೀವು ಏನು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತೀರಿ? ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಾರ್ಯವೇನು? ಸತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿರಿ.”
