वेपते पतिता भूमौ खेदिता वडवा यथा । इतश्चेतश्च काचिच्च दह्यमाना वराङ्गना
vepate patitā bhūmau kheditā vaḍavā yathā | itaścetaśca kācicca dahyamānā varāṅganā
ಒಬ್ಬಳು ನೆಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದು, ದಣಿದ ಕುದುರೆಯಂತೆ ನಡುಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಳು. ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ದಹಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಭಯದಿಂದ ಇತ್ತಿಚ್ಚೆ ಓಡಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಳು.
