mūlaśrīpatinā devī proktā sthāpaya bhāskaram | śrutvā devoditaṃ devī sthāpayāmāsa bhāskaram

Translation

ಮೂಲಶ್ರೀಪತಿ ವಿಷ್ಣುವು ದೇವಿಗೆ— “ಭಾಸ್ಕರನನ್ನು (ಸೂರ್ಯನನ್ನು) ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ದೈವೋಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ದೇವಿಯು ಭಾಸ್ಕರನನ್ನು ವಿಧಿಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದಳು.
