यस्तु सम्यग्विधानेन तत्र स्नात्वार्चयेच्छिवम् । देवान्पितॄन्समभ्यर्च्य मुच्यते सर्वपातकैः
yastu samyagvidhānena tatra snātvārcayecchivam | devānpitṝnsamabhyarcya mucyate sarvapātakaiḥ
ಆದರೆ ಯಾರು ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರೋಕ್ತ ವಿಧಾನದಂತೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಿ ಶಿವನನ್ನು ಪೂಜಿಸುತ್ತಾನೋ, ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪಿತೃಗಳನ್ನೂ ಯಥಾವಿಧಿಯಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಚಿಸಿ, ಅವನು ಸರ್ವ ಮಹಾಪಾತಕಗಳಿಂದ ಮುಕ್ತನಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ।
