eraṇḍyāḥ saṅgame snātvā brahmahatyāṃ vyapohati | rātrau jāgaraṇaṃ kuryātprabhāte bhojayeddvijān
ಎರಣ್ಡೀ ಸಂಗಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಿದವನು ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಹತ್ಯೆಯ ಪಾಪವನ್ನೂ ತೊಳೆದುಹಾಕುತ್ತಾನೆ. ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಗರಣೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು, ಪ್ರಭಾತದಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ವಿಜರಿಗೆ (ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣರಿಗೆ) ಭೋಜನ ನೀಡಬೇಕು.
