aputrasya gṛhaṃ śūnyaṃ diśaḥ śūnyā hyabāndhavāḥ | mūrkhasya hṛdayaṃ śūnyaṃ sarvaśūnyaṃ daridratā

ಮಗನಿಲ್ಲದವನ ಮನೆ ಶೂನ್ಯ; ಬಂಧುಗಳಿಲ್ಲದವನಿಗೆ ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳೂ ಶೂನ್ಯ. ಮೂರ್ಖನ ಹೃದಯ ಶೂನ್ಯ; ದಾರಿದ್ರ್ಯವೆಂದರೆ ಸರ್ವಶೂನ್ಯತೆ.
