Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Type: stotra
Role: liberating
It praises the mark of mature sādhana: living in Śiva’s discipline, seeking Śiva-jñāna, and becoming free from saṅga (binding attachments) so the mind rests in Śiva—the Pati who grants liberation.
Exclusive absorption in Śiva is commonly steadied through Saguna worship—especially Liṅga-pūjā—where devotion and contemplation converge, ripening into Śiva-jñāna and inner detachment.
Practice daily Śiva-upāsanā with mantra-japa (especially the Pañcākṣarī, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and meditation that withdraws from distracting associations, cultivating one-pointedness on Śiva.
