Sanatkumara
Tattva Level: pashu
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: teaching
It highlights the Shaiva principle that true response to sacred counsel arises from a mind made calm through bhakti—devotion that aligns the inner self toward Pati (the Lord) and supports right understanding and action.
Though the Linga is not explicitly named here, the verse describes the inner qualification for Saguna Shiva worship: listening (śravaṇa) with receptivity and replying from a devotion-filled, tranquil mind—an essential mood in Linga-upāsanā.
The implied practice is devotional listening and contemplation: hear sacred instruction with steadiness, then respond or act from bhakti-yukta citta. This pairs naturally with japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) to stabilize the mind.
