शिवस्य आश्वासनं हरि-ब्रह्मणोः तथा शङ्खचूडवृत्तान्तकथनम् / Śiva’s Reassurance to Hari and Brahmā; Account of Śaṅkhacūḍa’s Origin

देवा ऊचुः । देवदेव महादेव गिरिजानाथ शंकर । वयं त्वां शरणापन्ना रक्ष देवान्भयाकुलान्

devā ūcuḥ | devadeva mahādeva girijānātha śaṃkara | vayaṃ tvāṃ śaraṇāpannā rakṣa devānbhayākulān

ದೇವರುಗಳು ಹೇಳಿದರು— “ದೇವದೇವ, ಮಹಾದೇವ, ಗಿರಿಜಾನಾಥ, ಶಂಕರ! ಭಯದಿಂದ ಕಳವಳಗೊಂಡ ನಾವು ನಿನ್ನ ಶರಣಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ; ಭಯಾಕುಲರಾದ ದೇವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸು।”
