अध्याय १७ — देवपलायनं, विष्णोः प्रतियुद्धं, जलंधरक्रोधः
Devas’ Rout, Viṣṇu’s Counterattack, and Jalandhara’s Wrath
जलंधर उवाच । यदि भावुक तुष्टोऽसि वरमे तन्ददस्व मे । मद्भगिन्या मया सार्धं मद्गेहे सगणो वस
jalaṃdhara uvāca | yadi bhāvuka tuṣṭo'si varame tandadasva me | madbhaginyā mayā sārdhaṃ madgehe sagaṇo vasa
ಜಲಂಧರನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— “ಹೇ ಸತ್ಪುರುಷಾ! ನೀನು ತೃಪ್ತನಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ನನಗೆ ಈ ವರವನ್ನು ಕೊಡು— ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ಗಣಗಳೊಡನೆ, ನನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸು।”
